Jews don't believe in the Devil (obviously), but that second part "when we behave with compassion, generosity and grace, we create God in the world," that's what Judaism is all about--making what we do and how we act every day, every moment a holy thing.

On the other hand, I like how the quote totally reflects social constructionism and "we are the gods." That it's what we do that creates "God" and "the Devil." Wicked awesome quote, dude.

I am glad to hear that you are more relaxed about things. I've had a hard time putting it into words, but you did it: sometimes it's good to wrestle with life and issues and sometimes it's good to just be. That's so right on. Life is all about figuring out who you are and making your life what you want it. But sometimes we spend too much time figuring it out and not enough time living it. I don't usually do resolutions or anything, but maybe that'll be mine for the time being. I'm happy with life now, so just live it.

Thanks for the inspiration, dude. Enjoy the rest of your break.Sam Lovehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02427391549481627501noreply@blogger.com
